Ana is the consummate educator in that she approaches teaching in a holistic way- mind, body, and spirit. That she is able to integrate the intellectually-challenged children (who are called special) with regular students, and blend them into one harmonious classroom, not only fills up one group with compassion and empathy, but embraces the other with the feeling of being wanted and understood.
